The food in India...SUPERB! By far some of the best cuisine my taste-buds have ever encountered. It definitely surpasses the Indian food we get in America. Here are some photos and descriptions of what I have eaten:
Jalebi...SUPER sugary, crispy treats
Made with sugar syrup, rosewater, flour, curd, cardamom seeds, and fried in ghee. When you bite into one, somehow the center has liquid sugar throughout the ring. AMAZING! And a cavity maker, for sure.
How to make an Indian Burger:
1. Mix the batter around with your bare hand
2. Place potato patties in a huge vat of hot boiling oil

3. Add chili peppers and ENJOY!

Chicken Lollipops...
And Manchurian Veggie Balls!!!
Pan Bhaji

Masala Dosa from Krishna's
Fresh figs for breakfast!
Scored some much needed espresso in Pune.
Same roll, only cut-up and ready to bite!

I was a very happy lady that day!
So was Kat!
Mango ice cream! Reminded me of gelato. Delicious!
After the above snacks, Kat, Jayshri and I went to our friend Tushar and Kishar's for dinner.
Their mother prepared a lovely dinner, which was difficult to eat because of the pre-snacking we did.
Super sweet, flaky cube of yummy-ness. Served with some news.
